We recommend planning ahead to prepare for your tattoo. Here are some tips you can follow for the best experience:
Drink plenty of water leading up to your appointment and avoid alcohol 24 hours before your appointment.
Eat a balanced meal before your tattoo and feel free to bring snacks to eat throughout.
Get a good nights sleep before your tattoo.
Make sure the area you're getting tattooed is clean and ready for the process. Be sure to wear clothes that will allow the area to be easily accessed.
It is important to share any medical conditions that you have that could potentially have an effect on your health during your appointment.
(Ex. epilepsy, low blood sugar, low blood pressure, allergies to inks or creams used in tattooing, allergies to latex, a condition that has you on blood thinners, etc.)
Great question! For your artist to best schedule you and get you an estimate, please provide them with the following when you message them about booking an appointment:
- Your ideas and any reference photos that you may have.
- Placement. A photo of where the tattoo will be going on your body is very helpful when it comes to designing the tattoo that's perfect for you.
- How soon are you wanting to get the tattoo done.
